Rosetta trajectory for trimmed 1PGX. It got the fold wrong. But very close!

Background

I am currently a PhD student with the Lovell lab. I have a BE in Biotechnology from the Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, and an MRes in Biological Sciences from the University of Manchester. I first worked in the lab for one of my Masters projects, and I liked it so much I decided to continue on to a PhD! Prior to starting my PhD, I interned with the Popelier group at Manchester.

Research Interests

My PhD project focuses on the protein folding problem. We are trying to understand how a protein's amino acid sequence determines its three-dimensional structure. I am analysing the popular computational method Rosetta with a view to improve conformational searching in its early stages. I am co-supervised by Julia Handl at the Manchester Business School.
